What do you do for fun when you aren't working at Western?

The list goes on and on! Biking, skiing, camping and hiking are all passions of mine.  I love to travel both in and out of the country, depending on how much time I have.  The most recent hobby I've picked up is brewing my own beer at home (thanks, chemistry!). If I'm feeling more mellow, though, nothing beats an afternoon at the park with my border collie, Friday. 

What is your favorite meal at your favorite Gunnison or Crested Butte restaurant?

A full order of chicken nachos at the Gunnison Brewery are unbelievable.  And enormous.  And delicious.  Go there on a Tuesday and grab some dollar fish tacos as well! After that line up, I'm a very happy camper. 

What is your favorite thing about living in Gunnison?

In a nut shell, my favorite thing about living here is the outdoor opportunities the Gunnison valley has to offer.  Folks in Gunnison work and study hard, and the mountains in the area are a great place to play hard as well.   It's nice to see your professors on the slopes or the mountain bike trails while you're taking a well deserved 'study break'. 

Random fact about yourself?

I aspire to climb the 54 peaks in Colorado that are 14,000 feet or taller.  I've got some work to do!
