Applying to WSCU

Non-Degree Students

An applicant not wishing to pursue a degree at WSCU may be admitted as a non-degree seeking or unclassified student. To apply, download and send in the non-degree/unclassified application form.

No transcripts or essay are required for this application. Students not seeking a degree can take a maximum of 12 credit hours before applying for formal admission.

Additional Bachelor's Degree Students

Any student who has been awarded a Bachelor's degree from WSCU or an accredited institution who wishes to pursue another Bachelor's degree must submit WSCU’s Online Application.

College transcript(s) must be sent directly to WSCU. Send official transcripts from each college you have attended. Students must also include a $30 application fee. The fee may be paid online at the time of your online application or mailed separately.

High School Concurrent Enrollment

The High School Concurrent Program is intended for high school students interested in the challenge of completing college courses at Western State Colorado University. High School Concurrent students earn college credit that may also be applied to high school graduation requirements.

Graduate Study

Western State Colorado University offers two Master's Degree programs--an MA in education and MFA in creative writing. Both programs include an on-campus component in the summer, followed by online coursework.
